Function

As an Electronics Designer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of electronic boards (schematics, PCB layout & prototype assembly), as well as the monitoring and maintenance of existing boards (due to component obsolescence and/or shortages).

You will join our great R&D team, made up of 8 people, including 4 electronics engineers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing electronic schematics and printed circuit boards (PCBs) using CAD software such as Altium, Eagle, or KiCAD.
  • Developing functional prototypes to test and validate designs, and making adjustments based on test results.
  • Conducting performance and reliability tests, analyzing data, and optimizing designs to meet quality standards.
  • Writing and maintaining technical documentation, including product specifications, user manuals, and test reports.
  • Collaborating with mechanical, software, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of electronic systems.
  • Staying up to date with the latest trends and technologies in electronics to propose innovative solutions.

  • Degree in Electronics Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s level), with proven experience in electronic board development in an industrial environment.
  • Proficient in CAD tools such as Eagle or Altium, and capable of managing and maintaining them (library management, verification routines, and generation of production files).
  • Familiar with best practices in PCB layout and component placement.
  • Production-oriented, with a good understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design to Cost principles.
  • Solid experience in embedded programming, with familiarity in ARM architectures and STM32 microcontroller families.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with functional safety programming (IEC-60730-1, IEC 61508, etc.) is a strong asset.
  • Experience with safety-critical development and reliability calculation is also a plus.
