Function

As a Methods & Industrialization Engineer, you are responsible for optimizing assembly processes, improving industrial performance, and structuring technical data for production.

You play a key role at the interface between design, production, and quality departments. You will be part of the Methods & Industrialization team and report directly to the Operations Director.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a cross-functional interface between Project (Bid & PM), Engineering, Production, and Quality teams
  • Challenging product design to improve operational efficiency
  • Actively participating in design reviews (PDR), make-or-buy decisions, prototyping, and pre-series phases
  • Defining and validating tools, equipment, and resources required for assembly
  • Optimizing assembly methods while integrating quality, cost, and lead time constraints
  • Standardizing manufacturing processes and structuring the related documentation
  • Defining and maintaining ERP settings related to routings, bills of materials, cycle times, resources, etc.
  • Conducting root cause analysis and driving corrective or improvement actions
  • Providing technical support to the workshop, particularly during critical phases (prototyping, production ramp-up, technical changes)
  • Leading or participating in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, 5S, etc.)
  • Contributing to industrial agility by anticipating evolving needs and facilitating responsiveness on the shop floor

  • Organized and detail-oriented, bringing structure and clarity to your work
  • Thrives in a dynamic and agile startup-like environment
  • Master’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent bachelor's degree with relevant experience)
  • Minimum 3–5 years of successful experience in a manufacturing or electromechanical assembly environment in a similar role
  • Excellent understanding of industrial processes, mechanical assembly, and industrialization tools
  • Knowledge of Lean tools and problem-solving methodologies (5 Whys, Ishikawa, FMEA, etc.) is an asset
  • Comfortable with ERP systems (technical configuration and activity tracking)
