Function

In this role, you will report to the Production Director based in Wavre. Your areas of responsibility include:

Service Deliveries

  • International
      • Technical support and on-site troubleshooting for customers
      • Installation of pilot equipment or exhibitions
      • Retrofit installation (adaptation of existing equipment on site)
      • Informing sales representatives of detected opportunities
  • In Belgium
      • Remote technical support for customers (soft troubleshooting: web interface, pre-diagnostic logs, loading and description of issues to level 3)
      • Training, assistance for site managers/technicians performing complete installations
      • Creation/management of troubleshooting tools (project listing and equipment specifications)
      • Preparation for future travels: planning, reservations, documentation, tools, spare parts preparation
      • Occasionally participating in on-site Prevention Plan meetings
      • Communicating possible improvements to the supervisor for fault consolidation/technical improvements
      • Providing support to production (startup, troubleshooting, outgoing checks) on projects requiring subsequent service assistance.

Activity Management and Reporting

  • Carefully drafting intervention reports before having them signed by the client
  • Closing and providing feedback on each intervention
  • Writing expertise reports

In your role, you work safely for yourself and others

  • Always wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) according to ongoing activities
  • Marking the work area and preventing access to unauthorized persons
  • Communicating real-time to the client the non-compliance with access instructions to the work area

Profile

  • Minimum A2 diploma with a technical orientation (electricity or electromechanics)
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in installation or after-sales maintenance of electromechanical products
  • Very good knowledge of electricity
  • Good knowledge of MS Office suite and capacity to learn specific turnstile diagnostic tools
  • Proficiency in French and English (minimum B2). Knowledge of Spanish is a significant asset
  • VCA certification (or willingness to undergo training if necessary)

  • Willing to travel abroad (travel frequency varies according to needs and can be up to 60-70% of the time in a month) and extremely flexible regarding departures (speed of departure) and duration of trips. Some trips will be outside the European space.
